New but been here before

Hello everyone. This is not my first rodeo here on MyFitnessPal. But it has been a while. About 10+ years or so.
Been battling my diet and overall health. I knew of the poor decisions I was making food wise but never changed anything. Always complained but never did anything about it. Clothes didn’t fit well, hated the way I looked, the way I felt. Never did anything about it. So here I am, doing something about it. Last straw for me was when I was forced to start using suspenders because the belt would hurt.
First go around I lost over 60 pounds but gained it all back and that’s due to not fully accepting that I needed a lifestyle change and not just a diet. This time around, I know I needed to change my habits. Habits that were holding me back from getting myself healthy.
So about 2 months in and I’ve lost 20 pounds. I can honestly say that I am fully locked in. This is not something I’m doing for 1 year just to get to my weight goal. This is a lifestyle change for me. This is my new way of living. Old clothes that I set aside because they didn’t fit well, now fit me once again. That is such a wonderful feeling.
Intermittent fasting has been working very well for me. I have my breakfast at 9am, lunch at 12pm and final snack at 2pm. Won’t eat again until 9am the following day. I am more active and have tons of more energy. 3 months ago I would be drained by the time I got out of work. That was in large part to all the horrible food choices I was making and putting in my body.
I’m glad to be back here. Hoping to make new friends that are or have been through this before. Share tips, recipes and just have a great time because I am putting my health first. Let’s own this year and accomplish all of our health goals together. #STAYFOCUSED
