Plan Recipes: Ingredients measured by weight

Add the option for provided recipes to have all ingredients measured by weight. Oz of item, rather than "medium pepper," "large banana," or 3 potatos. Saves us from having to look up the weight of what is considered medium, large or standard sized for the item to figure it out.

I agree that all foods need to be able to be logged by weight. However, I prefer weighing in grams. As an American, I can admit that gram measurements are superior to ounce measurements, for weighing food intake. Grams are much more precise than ounces. Most (all?) electronic kitchen scales can measure in both grams and ounces.
Don't make serving sizes be something like 47 grams. Let me weigh my food in 1 gram increments and choose the precise number of grams. I prefer having to add the food more than once (300g+300g+138g=738g) if I hit a wall at the end of the grams dial. Individual grams are more accurate than fudging an approximate fraction of increments of 47 grams, and they're much less annoying than having to pull out a calculator.
