How many calories per day?

At first I thought it said I'm entitled to 1600 calories per day.

Today I noticed it said 1360. How can I check how much is recommended for me?

I'm 5'8 111kg so BMI is very high

are you male or female? How old? And which weightloss goal did you chose? All these things influence the calories you're given. Also, what's your activity level outside of exercise, and do you have a fitness tracker connected?

Im Female, 37, wanted goal weight to be 70kg, about losing 1kg per week. Activity level about 20 minute walk per day and no tracker. I just dont know how to set how many calories I'm supposed to have.

Wonder how why it changed from 1700 to 1360... now I don't know what to go off

1700 sounds more plausible for your stats as a goal than 1360. You can check by comparing with an outside TDEE calculator, but recognize that MFP expects you to set daily activity level excluding intentional exercise, then log and eat back exercise calories, too, when you do exercise. That may mean MFP's estimate for any given activity level could be different - probably a little lower, but probably not 400 calories lower - for the same-named activity level setting.

I like this TDEE estimator, because it has more activity levels, with better descriptions of each, than most similar estimators have, plus it lets you compare multiple research based estimating formulas all in one place:

Because there's so many options and so much information there, the user interface can look complicated at first, but it's easy to use and understand if you step through it.

Why your calorie goal dropped, without a tracker synced, is a mystery. You might want to double check all your MFP profile settings, plus your current weight entry in the weight-progress area. Typos are one possible explanation. After doing that, if you find no typos, try going back through guided setup.

BTW, your goal weight setting in MFP has zero effect on your calorie goal. They ask that so they can use it in progress messages in some places, but that's all. It's the weight loss rate you put in your profile that will determine how aggressive your calorie goal is. You're probably OK with a full kilo per week for a bit, but a common rule of thumb suggested here is 0.5-1% of current week, with a bias toward the lower end of that unless quite overweight, and under medical supervision for deficiencies or health complications. I'd suggest re-evaluating that loss rate after you drop through 100 kilos, maybe sooner if it's very difficult for you to stick with the more aggressive calorie goal.

    Best wishes!
