Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. You have only one hour to edit your post. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share. Make the board your own - track what is important for YOUR JOURNEY. 

FOR NEWBIES - I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all of the posts.

    Thank you @quiltingjaine This will be my first time joining this challenge! It looks like a great way to be accountable - to plan for (and live within) a 10 day timeframe 🥰

    I’m joining from Australia. Female, 60 yrs. Start Wt - 71.8kgs (158.3lbs). Goal Wt @ end RND 294 - 70.8kgs (156.0lbs). I also plan to complete 10000 steps per day.

    April = March Do Over!! It WAS working…. Ready Round 294

    Meal & Water Plan ✅
    Alcohol 🚫
    Exercise ✅
    Personal Time ✅

    January: good until I got sick. (I rarely get sick ~ thanks grandkids! )
    February: it seemed my body was trying to overcompensate for being sick....it was odd.
    March R1: I did fairly well last round, Down 2.2 vs the 3.3 that I wanted but I will take as a win. Continuing my focus for the month, micromanaging! My March BHAG ~Big Hair Audacious Goal is to lose 10lbs. 10lbs in March translates to about 3.9 pounds for the next 2 rounds. March R2 ~ screech and halt. I stopped micromanaging and was just mentally blah. Back on it for the remainder of the month. Surely won't do 10 but I can stay below my ending February number!

    How Will I do this:

    Micromanager ~ proactive and timely review of my actions.

    Aiming for 10k steps per day. Aim to burn 2,900+ calories (per Apple watch which translates into closing my move goal)

    TDEE experiment ~ I will elaborate on this after a couple of weeks.

    Goal#1 - Calories - 1650. **Eat well 🥗to Live Well ?✈️🚢💼
    Goal#2 - Wine/Alcohol Reduction - 85% Dry March or better ** 🚫🍷Alcohol kills weight loss as the focus is burning alcohol calories and not fat calories!
    Goal #3 - Water - Min 50 ounces - Max 100 (only if consumed before 6pm) H2O - Make it Flow 💦💦💦
    Goal #4 - Exercise - 6 days/week (Cardio, Core, Stretching, ST) ~ 🚶🏾‍♀️‍➡️🏋🏾‍♀️ Don't think, just do it!!
    Goal #5 - Self Care (Reading, Journaling, Monthly recap, Learning, Pampering)

    I expected to go up, but this actually surprised me a bit. Maybe it will slap me in the face and wake me up.

    Having said that I need to give myself a bit of grace. We had our traditional comfort Easter foods yesterday with candy mixed in all day. DS brought cheesy potatoes, green been casserole, and home-made baklava. I smoked a spiral cut ham (with maple syrup brushed between each flap with a sprinkled salty dry rub) and we had a few other sides. Sugar cookies for desert.

    I am “out of the woods” for a bit here and can concentrate on making some real progress. I will start logging again. Might take a day or so to “detox.”
