have you been working on building muscle as you lose weight? There’s studies indicating that folks on weight loss injections (assume that’s what you’re on?) are losing significant amount of muscle as part of the lost weight.I’d strongly encourage you to do some type of exercise that contributes to muscle growth. It doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t have to powerlift.
You just need to focus and be consistent with it.
I have this kinda scary dystopian vision of lots of newly-thin elderly people that won’t have enough muscle to get out of a chair in ten years. Where’s the “win” in that?
See if you’ve got a gym nearby. You’re probably eligible For Silver Sneakers through Medicare. (Judging only by your user id of “1960!”!) A lot of the big chain gyms offer free or heavily discounted memberships to Silver Sneakers.
My gym offers everything from chair yoga and chair weight classes to balance classes to stretching to rehab or “fitness” aquafit classes, as well as the usual array of weight and cardio equipment.
