Hello

been using MyFitness for quite some time. Love being able to keep track of food va exercise. Just wish it wasn’t so tough to lose the weight.

welcome to MFP @Chrissy52039
I’m going to go out on a limb here, simply based on your profile pic, assuming it’s recent. It doesn’t look like you have much to lose. Your visible. collarbones indicate that. The last 10 pounds are hard, and can easily take a month per pound.
Have you considered weight training? It will reshape your body, and build strength, bone density for older chicks like me, and work wonders for your confidence.
I don’t do especially heavy weights but I’m consistent. I work with a trainer twice a week and do cardio weights.
It doesn’t have to be “ball breaking” stuff, although I do like to challenge myself. Some of the ladies in my “Muscle Madness” (I think my daughter’s gym calls it Beach Body or something similar) cardio class are getting very good results and many max out with eight or ten pound weights or less. But, I stand behind them (I was asked to because I intimidate” others, lol) and I can see the improvements and see the muscle they’ve built.
I silently cheer them on. My gym skews towards an older clientele, and to see ladies in their 50, 60, even 70’s building muscle is AMAZING, INSPIRATIONAL and POWERFUL.
Not implying your old as dirt like us, but if we can do it, you can do it! 😘
