New(ish) Here — Back for Round 2 (or...4?)

Hey everyone!
I'm not exactly new here — I've been on MFP on and off since 2012 (yes, we go way back). In 2016, I lost a significant amount of weight with the help of this community and even did a few success posts. 🙌 Then, well... 2020 happened. Like for a lot of people, COVID hit my progress like a truck — along with about 1000 other things I won't list because we all lived it.
The idea of starting over is intimidating. Doing it again feels exhausting just thinking about it. But here's the thing: CICO works. I know it. It worked before, and it will work again. I want to seriously improve my quality of life — not just for now, but for the next 20 years and beyond.
Last time, the MFP community was a HUGE part of what kept me going. So here I am, throwing myself back into it and looking forward to reconnecting with this amazing space.

So, you gained weight when you stopped calorie counting and that happened more than once, I think that's what your saying. It sounds like your going to be counting calories indefinitely because it appears when you stop you gain weight, is that what your saying. I'm just asking for my own curiosity and by all means do what works for you, after all, that's all that can be asked of anyone.
