Hello fitness pals

I'm 53 trying to get to my goal. Better late then never.
I want to be 190 lbs. That is my goal. What is yours?

hi @DSky2
welcome to MFP!my goal is to drop about five I gained while traveling extensively last year and earlier this year.
I’m still within my 5 pounds plus or minus range for maintenance, where I’ve been for several years after a large loss, but would feel more comfortable slightly smaller.
My NSV (non scale victory) goal is to accomplish a couple of yoga poses that just elude me. Full wheel (janky shoulders still prevent it) and grasshopper. I expect to have grasshopper under my belt soon. I can get it up one one side but not the other, and can only hold it for a second or two. I like my instructor’s philosophy that you should be able to “meditate” in a pose for at least five full breaths.
Baby grasshopper? No problem. I just want the full enchilada grasshopper, and may just change my profile pic when I finally get there. 🤩
When I was still obese, at 56, this would have been a joke and not even on my radar. Weight loss rocks in so many ways you’d never even expect.
Much success to you!
