Resetting goals

How do I change calorie goals? I would prefer the app do it for me. I’m guessing the answers I gave to the initial questions it asked when I first downloaded it are what produced these unrealistic goals of 1200 cal a day, but I can’t function on that. I just reloaded it after deleting it a few years ago and I don’t know how to change everything so it makes more sense with my activity level today. I need help resetting everything and I don’t know how to do it. The entire reason I got the app was so that it would tell me what I need to do for myself and I’m thinking the only way to make sure that happens is to go through whatever the initial questioning was all over again because I want the app to tell me how much I need to eat. I’m far too active to survive on 1200 cal a day. Please tell me how to reset all the intake information so that I have a reasonable plan that makes sense for me today and not based on what I entered three years ago.

Did you tell it you wanted to lose 2 pounds/1 kilo per week? That's a common way to get 1200 calories.
If you tell it you want to lose slower, it will give you more calories.
If you're active with exercise, MFP intends for you to set your "activity level" based on your life before exercise - things like your job and home chores, non-exercise hobbies, etc. Then, when you exercise, add the exercise and get more calories added to that day. Alternatively, and maybe easier, sync a fitness tracker to MFP and let it tell MFP about your activity daily. (If you sync a fitness tracker, turn on negative adjustments in MFP.)
