Hi there. Just joined to continue my weight loss and improve my fitness. Lost 60 lbs between July to December 2024 and have maintained that weight since then. It's now time to lose the additional 40 pounds to get down to a reasonable weight and am hoping this site will assist me in that goal.
I am having some difficulty in adjusting to this sites' software/applications because I'm missing items their help pages say I should have, once I've followed a thread there is no way (or no obvious way) to get back to the starting point and the mobile app is of course, slightly different. Regardless, MyFitnessPal is still an invaluable tool in achieving my goal!

    hi @Slick327efi welcome to MFP! Great job so far! I lost my first 20 or so before joining and lost the rest with the support of board folks here who put up with a passle of my questions, complaints, drama, frustrations……

    I think you’re asking how to bookmark a thread to find it again. Simple! Just click the little bookmark emblem on top right til it turns blue.

    Now you ll be noticed any time someone responds. To find your notifications, click your profile pic at very top right, and you’ll see a little bell, which will tell you if thereve been any responses to a thread you’ve bookmarked OR if so or has mentioned you specifically by putting an @ sign in front of your user name tiny turns blue, like so: @Slick327efi


    that’s how you catch the attention of a particular user.

    Also, if someone has quoted your post, that will throw up a notification flag simply because your user name is in the quote.
