How to work my calories

Hi I'm just wondering how best to set calories and protein etc

    Set up your MFP profile accurately as possible, and it will give you calorie and nutrition goals. Those goals will be a reasonable starting point for most people, as long as they don't try to lose weight crazy-fast for their current situation. There's no way to get remotely adequate nutrition on too-few calories.

    I'd suggest you start there, then if you need to tweak things based on multi-week weight loss experience, or as you learn more about nutrition, you can do that later. That'll be fine.
