I hate done Keto before and did well. My doctor suggested Mediterranean. Don’t really k ow anything about that one. Starting AGAIN to try and lose weight and be healthier. I am the type of person if I do t see results I give up. I know with keto you can see it quickly. Can anyone tell me anything about Mediterranean?

    Hi,

    They are quite different

    • Mediteranean . suggests certain foods (from the geographical area) and uses typical calories and macro percentages, that your body digests in typical ways. Often recommended as may be helpful and healthy for heart/body/brain and may reduce risk of various disease and illnesses.
    • Keto (and other super/very low carb approaches) changes the recommended macros away from carbs to eating higher percentages of fats and proteins. This changes the way your body uses energy, can sometimes ease appetite and may help with some medical issues.

Perhaps a good idea to find information on the plans and read the pros and cons.

Both approaches can be adjusted to your food preferences, and the food tracker can help you understand how much (quantity of) food fits into the mediteranean or the keto plans calorie and macro percentage guidelines.
