Food Diary Bug Fixes Needed in Android App

In the web app under the free account, I can delete a food entry in my diary or set it to a quantity of 0, and both of those actions are good…

But in the Android app on my Google Fi Pixel 6a smartphone I can't find a button or link to delete a food diary line item and trying to set it to 0 produces a popup error with 1 being the minimum value for the field. It should be consistent across platforms. I had to go to the web app to delete my mistaken added menu diary entries I added on the android app on my cell phone.

When I enter an item in the web app with a quantity of 0 because I am entering it before eating something and trying to plan ahead my daily calorie split between meals, that should be okay… It works on the web app, but has the quantity=1 bottom numerical limit on the android app.

So if I enter 0 quantity of a food item into my diary using the web app, it takes it. Great. But not on the Android app. And if I then go to the Android app and try to edit the quantity to 1, I can save it. But if I decide that's too much calories for me to take in in that mean and I want to set it back to 0 on the Android app, I get the error message not allowing it…

Thank you for putting this bug/inconsistency into your requested bug fix list for the android app, to change the lower numeric field limiter from 1 to 0, allowing an entry of 0 like the web version does, which is my desired behavior. But also, remember the Android app needs a clearly visible and intuitive way to delete mistaken food diary entries and it seems it is not currently visible, at least in the Android app version. Thanks again. Jim.

On my Android devices, long-pressing the food's name in my diary pops up a delete option. Maybe try that?

There are many differences between web browser MFP and the Android version, and the Apple version is different from Android, too.

These are each completely different technology environments for users as well as for developers. It would be difficult to impossible to make them exactly the same.
