Because my breakfast is 3 chappathi with kadala curry and lunch is 1 cup of rice and with egg and vegetables then my dinner is 3 chappathi with onion curry

    Chappathi is a flour based flatbread, right?

    That’s a lot of calories devoted to bread alone. One thing I had to do when I started losing weight was trim breads, cakes, cookies, before I could even hope to trim myself.

    I don’t know what you are putting in your curries. You’ll have to sit down and see which ingredients may need to be used in smaller proportions, eliminated, or substituted

    I think ghee is probably a staple in your cooking. I’ve found I can keep the flavor I like, by still cutting oils and butters in half, or even more.


    Is cauliflower available to you? Chopped finely, cauliflower makes a very good low calorie substitute for rice I’m using it tonight in chicken fried rice I’ll use half rice and half cauliflower.

    There’s some painful decisions in front of you- or exciting new choices, depending how you think about it.

    I found that excitement worked a lot better for me than missing what I shouldn’t have.
