Full size products for recipe creation

When entering a recipe, it would be so nice to have the option of choosing an entire product, rather than having to calculate the total servings from the individual serving size offered. For example, if a recipe calls for a whole 18oz can of tomato sauce, I’m only given the option of adding the individual serving size which I then have to multiply by [whatever] to get the full calorie/nutrition for the can. I’m only talking about recipe creation here. Because I need the whole nutrition amount, which is then divided by the servings, to get the correct nutrition for the whole recipe. Is this making sense?

The entries in the database are largely user added, and the person adding them selects the serving size. They are asked to put in how many servings per product, and if that info has been entered, it will be available. Sometimes it's a matter of doing the "replace ingredient" thing and picking a different entry for the product which has the serving size options you need.
