I’m new to this app and don’t know if I’m missing something that’s a click of a button away or if I’m suppose to manually adjust protein/carb/fat numbers myself.

basically, I filled out the surgery and the plan I have been given is 1330 calories per day with the splits for protein/carb/fat but I am going to join premium plus and want to start a keto diet and utilise the meal plans however my macros don’t match up with this style.. I’m unsure how to make it match so it actually reflects the type of diet I want with appropriate macro % any help is appreciated

The default macros are consistent with mainstream health/nutrition experts' balanced-macros advice for the average person's typical omnivorous eating style. If you want to use a different eating style, that's not necessarily wrong or nutritionally risky, but it does mean that that person will need to adjust their MFP macro percents.

Generically, IMU keto is usually low carb, high fat, moderate protein. I suspect others more knowledgeable will come along and suggest specific percents or gram goals for you.

I can't suggest specific percents for you for keto, because that's not my eating style. (I'm a balanced macros vegetarian. I did slightly adjust my macros because of my preferences.) For me, weight loss was easier because I didn't try to take on a radically different eating style - challenging enough to simply moderately reduce calories! Maintenance, 9+ years so far, was also reasonably easy, and most people find maintaining a healthy weight more difficult than getting there in the first place. I don't have any of the health conditions that people say benefit from keto, either.

I don't know whether premium+ provides any guidance or support for keto. That's new feature, and I don't use it. Basic premium MFP is no different from free MFP in terms of keto support, AFAIK, other than the net carbs feature in premium that may matter for users in the US.
