Mounjaro journey

12lb loss in 4 weeks. Max of 1200 calories a day. Trying to focus on protein and fibre. Love Gousto boxes tend to make one for every dinner with a high fibre breakfast. Exercise at the moment is 2 physio sessions a week as I’m learning to walk again after a RTC. Going up to 5mg from next Tuesday. Looking for fellow Mounjarians for support on this journey 😁

I started in December for type 2 diabetes, I'm down 30lbs so far at an ave 1.2lb per week.

it should be minimum of 1200 calories!!!
Honestly you will stop losing weight if you don’t eat enough calories 👍

Agree about the calories but weight loss will not stop with not enough calories.

I aim for 1200 but some days it’s below. I find the days I do physio I am more hungry but keeping the consistency of exercise at the moment is not doable as I’m still recovering from my last surgery. But it will come. That’s why I’m prioritising protein even more. No need to be concerned about my calorie intake for now, it’s being monitored but thank you

I’ve been on MJ (lowest dose) for nearly two months. But I’ve also incorporated a number of other strategies to assist with weight loss and improved health including a low carb and high protein healthy diet, regular intense physical activity and OMAD. And in a couple of weeks I intend to drop the medication. My advice to anyone on Mounjaro or any GLP-1 medication is to take the opportunity to change your lifestyle factors for success not only in achieving your goal weight but maintaining a healthy weight into the future.
