How do you add “steps” to exercise

track my steps on an apple watch. How do I add them to my daily exercise?

    Hi @cjbkrrj welcome to MFP!


    you have to sync your Apple Watch to MFP for data to transfer.
    1.) on your phone, go to health

    2.) click your profile pic on top right

    3.) scroll down to privacy: apps

    5.) select MFP

    6.) hit select all, or pick and choose what you want to share with MFP

    Steps and any exercise you stop/start on your watch via the little running guy should now transfer to MFP :

    exercises and steps will look like this. (Please pardon the minus figure next to steps. I have a negative calorie adjustment enabled which should not affect you unless you are highly active. I’m assuming that, like me when I started out, you are not.)
