Unable to connect to fitbit

Hi, I'm trying to connect MFP to my Fitbit for the first time. When I click...get icon for Fitbit, it takes me to the permissions page, I click allow all but the it just takes me back to MFP app menu with Fitbit app get button again. To basically start over again. I've tried uninstalling both apps and tried again but it does the same. any help appreciated. Thank you
