Hey! I’m KC, and I'm new here. I’ve turned to MFP as a way to be honest with myself about my health habits, in hopes that I can be my best self!

I’ve noticed that as I approach 40, have several busy kids, and work a full time job, my health has taken a hit. My BP is borderline clinical, and weight is too high. I often forget to eat early in the day as I’m rushing to get everyone where they need to be, then overdo it later. I also have not made movement a priority over the last few years (starting with COVID). When I started lifting heavy, and tracking what I ate, I was feeling great. Then a car accident, followed by back and shoulder injuries really derailed my progress earlier this year. Thankfully, PT has really helped address the shoulder issues and is even helping proactively address some issues with my functional movement patterns im daily life. I’d love to find support in here as well!
