Improve quality of app

Hi,
I’m really enjoying the app—everything seems accurate and it’s meeting my expectations overall. However, several of my friends and people I know are also using the app, and we all share the same concern: the app doesn’t allow users to enter precise quantities in decimals of portions or grams of food, like 0.2 grams. This has been quite frustrating. And because of it I will not be continuing my subscription.
Considering the price of the app, I honestly expected more flexibility. The current system of using fractions like 3/4 or 5/8 isn’t intuitive for everyone, and it can be inconvenient.
Another point of feedback: the app’s interface feels a bit dry and uninviting. A more welcoming and visually engaging design would definitely enhance the user experience.
That said, the app has great potential and many strengths—but there’s room for improvement, especially if it’s to match the premium pricing and uphold its reputation.
I would be happy to renew my subscription if I would know that more precise food quantity input would be introduced and the overall interface improved.
Thank you for considering my feedback. I hope it helps you take the app even further and make the experience even more enjoyable for all users.
Best regards,
Remus

My jaw just dropped.
I’m not trying to discount your concerns, but if you’re registering fractions of a gram, that’s just wallowing in unnecessarily fine detail.
The last four scales I’ve used haven’t even offered that level of accuracy.
An average serving of cookies is 130 calories for two cookies totaling 28 grams. That’s less than 5 calories a gram and you want to fractionalize that?
Even if you’re cudgeling yourself with a 1200 day calorie limit, that’s .004% of your daily goal.
Just……why?
Are you counting your Diet soft drink as 4 calories? I mean, if it’s under 5, it’s allowed to be called “zero” calorie here.
I mean, I’m detail oriented myself. I’ll change that 28 grams of cherry tomatoes (5 calories total) to 32 (6 calories) in a heart beat, but taking it out to decimals blows my mind.

I'm pretty sure the authorities track the sale to the public of scales with that degree of accuracy, ifyaknowhwatimean.
I also haven't seen the use of fractions anywhere? Aside from logging meals from my recipe box on desktop, it's all entering decimal pointed numbers, as OP is suggesting happen.
