hi All,
when measuring ground beef is the quantity logged pre cooked or after cooking.
Thanks,

Either way works. If you start with a pound of raw beef and make 4 burgers, you'll know you used about 4 ounces raw meat in each. Or you could weigh the grilled burger on a food scale in grams for the greatest accuracy.

The nutrition label on the hamburger package assumes pre-cooked, which is why 80% and 90% hamburger have different nutritional values since the percentage of fat to protein is different. After cooking and removing the grease (melted fat), they are pretty similar.
