Lose weight

I’ve been following a 1500-calorie diet for a month to lose weight, but my weight isn’t dropping — it’s staying the same.

Did you join on 1. June? What have you been doing? What are your current stats and how do you log your food intake over those 2 days?

FYI: The join date we see reflects their joining the community, not joining MFP itself.

You may not be eating enough calories. Do you know what your basal metabolic rate is? You can calculate that free online. If it’s higher than 1500 calories then you’re starving yourself and your body won’t shed the extra pounds.
You can also use a TDEE calculator to help you determine what your caloric intake take should be based on your activity level.

it doesn't work like that.

Can we get some more info, what is your current age/weight/height? Do you exercise and do you eat back those calories? Are you meticulous logging each ingredient in a recipe using weight, or do you rely on approx database entries? Do you eat out a lot?
Answering these questions can help us hone in on what the problem might be.
