It's been a while

Good morning MFP, it's been a while.
Approximately 3 year judging by the fact that I logged on to discover that I had 3 anniversary badge notifications waiting for me, but really it's been much longer since I was the weight that I want to be. I've had a few false starts over the last couple of years (being that I logs for like 2 days and then give up) but I am successfully 1 week down so it seems likely that it's actually sticking this time.
Motivation this time? I've been vaguely keeping an eye on my weight since the end of January after I started some medication that finally got rid of my chronic fatigue. And "keeping an eye on" is the correct terminology because I watched it very slowly creep up. And then last Saturday somebody went through my knee during judo, and as I sat on the sofa aggressively icing it, unable to put any weight on it, I realised that if I didn't keep an eye on my eating, I was going to balloon as I wasn't going to be exercising anywhere nearly as much as I had been.
So here I am. Because even though I hate tracking, it has been the only thing that has ever really worked for me to remain consistent.
A little about me:
- 33, female, 159cm
- SW 81kg(ish), GW: 62kg
- Recently diagnosed with Crohn's disease and my IBD team are still working on getting my medication dosage correct, my symptoms are much better (nausea and fatigue) but my markers are still up
- I have one child who's now 2 and absolutely mad and loves running around. He certainly keeps me on my toes!
- Judo twice a week normally but fairly inactive other than that and I work a desk job
And what I'm doing is I'm just going to consistent logging. I'm not forcing myself to be perfect; 2 or 3 grams here or there for most things isn't going to make a huge difference, but I will be logging pretty much everything. Snacking is my biggest pitfall, and honestly, just by logging it makes me reduce my mindless snaking.
Anyway, yes, hello ☺️

Hello! Sorry about the recent injury! Hope it heals quickly. Keeping up with a two-year-old is no easy task.
Sounds like you have a good plan. No drastic changes, just a goal to be consistent. Welcome back and best wishes to you!
