Family party in 8 weeks

I’m Back on the weight loss wagon.
I lost 2 1/2 stone in Covid and felt amazing however as soon as the socialising restarted the weight slowly returned.
I’m back to my starting weight.
I have a family party in 8 weeks. I’m going to do calorie counting.
I’ve googled my calories needed to
Loose maximum weight.
If I could loose at least 1.5 stone in the 8 weeks, I know I’d feel so much better at the party.
Started today, did intermittent fasting over night and had first meal at 12.15 noon and then evening meal at 6pm. No snacks today. Can coke in the evening.
Any tips to keep focused and motivated.
