Put your personal details into your MyFitnessPal (MFP) profile, tell it how fast you want to lose weight - I'd suggest keeping that moderate. MFP will tell you how many calories to eat on average daily, as a starting point. Stick close to that calorie level for 4-6 weeks, at least one whole menstrual cycle for women of the age/stage to have those, and compare your requested loss rate to your average loss rate over that whole time period. If those differ significantly, change your calorie goal to personalize it. That can work fine.
