Starting a vlog

I've never really done this before but I thought it could keep me accountable. I don't know if I'll do it everyday yet but I think I'll start off that way.

My husband gets me up at 7:30 to make him breakfast before he goes to work and I really need to start investing in this time instead of going back to sleep.

I'm a stay at home/homeschool mom in my 30s. We full-time in an RV across the country for my husband's job, we've been on the road for 10 years and hope to quit this nomad life within a year or two.

RV's don't give much room for workouts and the floors breakdown quickly, we have soft spots everywhere… Most RV parks we've been in are very open and some people can complain allot and be nosy. I've always felt watched when I do anything outside. That being said we're are in a decent park now but still watched all the time.

I sitting at about 180lbs and I'm short, low 5ft. I have a hanging belly I'd like to address. I have some limitations, arthritis in my hands and elbows which keep me from doing pushups and some yoga positions. I've gotten good a squats and situps! Leg extensions are my enemy, small feet no balance!

My main workout is walking, there is a nice loop here and I have two dogs that like leash walking separately so that ups my step count.

Since summer is here they just filled the pool (salt water) which is nice but it's not heated... It's so cold! I'm working that into my workout early in the morning if I can to avoid the kids that like to hog it all day.

Also there is an outside basketball court, no shade which sucks in the sun but I'm trying to do that in the afternoon.

Foodwise for now I haven't changed much seeing what my daily baseline is first then what I need to work on. I cut out soda 2020 when I had a kidney stone for the first time. Dropped it like a hot coal. I'd rather push out another kid with no meds again than have another kidney stone! I love salt and don't eat a ton of sweats. I think salt will be my biggest problem…

This is day 2 for me as I did my new schedule for the first time yesterday! The pool was so cold and I'm kinda dreading it honestly. I have a Garmin forerunner 55 and it logged my swim and my walks. Though, the swimming might not be accurate it only gave me the option of 25m or 50m for the pool and I guessed 25m but I think it's less than that, I'll try to remember to check the real distance later today and see if it can be adjusted.

I've been consistently under my calorie goals all this week so far with just what I eat normally so not sure what needs to change yet.

Water is my big thing, I'm terrible at drinking extra fluids or just water. One cup of coffee in the morning, one to two cups of sweet green/berry tea throughout the day and one cup of hot tea before bed are usually my go-to. So far I've managed about 5 extra glasses of water everyday this week. It getting warmer out has helped with that and when I would reach for my sweet tea I get water, we'll see if it will become a habit.

I've wanted to add a jog/walk routine but I'm too conscious of people watching and this place is all gravel don't need a sprained ankle that will get me nowhere.

I'll try to write again tomorrow about today's progress and my plans!

Happy fitness journey y'all!
