Samsung Fit3 not syncing calories

i just got a Samsung Fit 3. The calories i burn show up on the Fit3 but they do not show up on the Myfitnesspal App on my GalaxyS21 or on my computer.

No luck? This is a real bummer to discover i was planning on moving from fitbit to samsung fit3 because google bought fitbit and wants to own everything!
