New and old at the same time

I used my fitness pal in 2015 then skipped to 2025. I already had an account but it had my weight from 2015. Over that 10 years I lost 50lbs. I retired 11 years ago and have eaten less since retirement. Feb 2025 I got a free gym membership so started going. Lost about 15lb by June 3 so decided to start tracking my food and remembered Myfitnesspal. It has been about 5 days and lost 2lbs so far.

My problem is I have no real goals. I am doing 6 aquafit classes a week sometimes more. I now started working on machines 3 days a week but just started. I plan to add some silver fit classes but they are hard so waiting until I am stronger.

I am 77 and diabetic, AIC of 7.4 so decided to lower it with high protein diet. Weighted 229 in Feb now down to 210.

I don't have a reason to want to be stronger or thinner but going to the gym every day gets me out of the house and I see people to talk to, it is my social event. I sat for almost 4 years doing nothing after my boyfriend died so this is fun for me. My doctor said it was ok to be a gym rat.
