Re-introducing myself

Where do I start. I have been on this journey for an incredibly long time. But I haven’t given up. I have been battling PCOS, endometriosis and lipedema for my entire adult life. Gaining weight/increased inflammation is practically instantaneous while losing is an uphill battle. Wayyy up. The lipedema is my biggest challenge as it exacerbates with any hormonal fluctuations. Well, having two kids at 40 most definitely made things crazy for my body, and then a partial hysterectomy still sent me into nearly instant menopause. My legs cause me the most grief, and I can hardly walk most of the time. However I still push myself to go to the gym every other day (usually) where I focus on strength training and mobility. I would love to find a place with a pool because I think the water pressure would be super beneficial.

Trying not to be too long-winded 😅 I took a break from MFP for a while and tried some other things out. Had a fitness coach for a while when I first started going to the gym, then had another coach for a few months last year to try to make some new good eating habits. It just wasn’t really in the budget to keep going. So I am back in need of some accountability and support. I can’t stop or I will be raising my kids in a wheelchair. I am tired of always being in pain, and though I will most likely still need surgery for my legs, I can still do what I can to keep active and build strength.

Please feel free to add me, especially any Alberta friends 🥰
