Calorie limit refuses to update when changing weekly goal.

Hi there,
I'm currently getting back into calorie counting and found that on the app, I cannot see a change in my calorie limit when changing my weekly goals. I do not have a custom goal set up.
For example, whether I set the goal at -2lbs a week or maintain/gain weight, the calorie daily total stays the same. I have tried logging in and out, reinstalling the app (android) and changing via website (which doesn't seem to sync anyways).
Has anyone else had this issue?
Thank you.

I had to lower my daily calorie intake in the goals set up but the new calorie amount is not resetting in my food diary. Any ideas on how to make that happen?

No! I just changed from weight loss to maintenance recently and it updated properly. I always edit my goals using the web interface, if that matters. Then you should immediately see a change both on the web and on the app.

I've had similar issues: see my recent post on this forum.
I just tried changing my weight loss target on the app on my Android phone, and the calorie total stats the same whatever goal I choose.

The calorie goal does have a lower limit, so for some people they can change their settings and still get the same goal (1500 for men, 1200 for women).
But this doesn't like that issue, it sounds like a bug. I would suggest contacting MFP directly to make them aware of the issue.

I'm glad it's not just me then, I noticed the same thing yesterday

Yep. Another here, calorie goal doesn't change even from gain +2 to lose +2.

My goal calories aren't updating if I want to change it to maintenance or something else. It is stuck at whatever I had before this issue started.

Are all of you using the app? It still works on the desktop version of MFP.

It's still all over the place: with the exact same user data, the desktop version gives me a calorie total of 1210 per day to lose 0.5kg per week whereas the app gives me 1540. And a month ago, the app was giving me a total of 1800 cals per day to lose 0.5kg per week.
It's a shambles.0 -
Hi, have you heard anything back?

Still not fixed. Glad I'm only using the free version of this app

It has been added to the list of current open issues - workaround is to use the desktop website.
