Urgent Need for Modernization – Redesign the App, Add WHOOP & Supplement Logging Now

As a paying premium user, I’m extremely frustrated with how outdated and underdeveloped MyFitnessPal has become compared to other apps in the health and fitness space. It feels like the app has been left behind while competitors evolve with AI tools, better UX/UI, advanced integrations, and real-time data analysis. MyFitnessPal, by contrast, still looks and functions like something from years ago.

  1. The UX/UI is clunky and outdated. It’s not intuitive, not user-friendly, and gives off the impression that user experience is not a priority.
  2. No WHOOP integration? That’s unacceptable in 2025. WHOOP is a major player in fitness tracking, and not having the ability to sync recovery, sleep, or activity data with MyFitnessPal shows how behind this app is. We have to use workarounds like Android/IOS Health Connect just to get partial functionality.
  3. Still no proper way to log supplements and vitamins separately. This is basic. There should be a dedicated tab or category. Users are forced to awkwardly track them like food items. It’s inefficient and shows how little thought has gone into supporting modern health routines.

The subscription price is premium. The product is not. You are charging users for a platform that lacks basic features and feels completely stagnant. Other platforms are moving fast and building tools that empower users, while MyFitnessPal appears stuck in maintenance mode, giving us only the bare minimum.

Your customers are noticing. People are already jumping ship to better alternatives. If you don’t act soon, you will lose the trust and loyalty of the remaining users too. It honestly feels like the company just doesn’t care.

Please take this seriously – we expect action, not vague responses.
