Why do I feel funny

Options

I stopped all sodas yesterday and by the end of the day I was lethargic. This morning when I woke up and started to move around I still felt funny. My hands are shaking and my head feels like it weighs a ton, I feel very strange and I’m just not feeling well. Could this be because of the lack of caffeine?

    Yes.

Taper off caffeine for best results.

In a lot of areas, gradual change is tolerated better in physiological terms than sudden dramatic change. Some other examples would be increasing fiber, possibly decreasing carbs if dramatic, etc.

Cutting calories too far for ultra-fast loss is generally a bad plan, too, whether gradual or dramatic . . . but the definition of "too far, too fast" varies with current body size, health history, other stress sources in one's life, and more.

You're really strong for taking that step, it’s not easy to stop something your body’s used to. Yes, it could be your body reacting to the sudden drop in caffeine, especially if you used to have it often. Those symptoms sound tough, but they usually pass after a few days. Have you been drinking plenty of water or maybe tried something gentle like herbal tea to help ease the transition?
