What Do You Do With Cassava Bread?

found this low cal crispy stuff on the bread aisle at the international grocery.

For 30 calories a serving (a little more than a third of a thin sheet) I figured it was worth experimenting with.

Surely, it couldn’t have any less flavor than “low cal” Wasa bread. 😬

The lady at checkout says in her country they soak cassava bread in milk, but didn’t explain further because she stopped suddenly and said “but I’ve never seen it this thin before!”

I use it for gluten free sandwiches

This is from a recipe I like.. but store bought , the thin rounds are great for making versatile flatbreads as well!

thanks. They’re still sitting on the counter, like “use me, please?”

I’ve got some amazing double cream cheese from a farm in South Georgia. Wondering how it would be with cheese and apple slices. I had some on a baguette yesterday and it was to die for.

when I think flatbread, I think pita, naan, lavash- something I can roll or stuff.

How exactly do you mean you use them as flatbread?
