Hi,
I'm looking for some tips and advice to lose weight and get healthy.

In late November I wasn't feeling too well, I fell into a coma and was diagnosed with Acute Cerebellitis (my brain was swollen and had multiple micro bleeds), my family was told I was going to die.

I was in a coma for 6 weeks, my body ate all my muscles (but left the fat :/ ),
I spent another 6 weeks in hospital re-learning how to lift a spoon, feed myself, sit up, use the toilet, wash myself and eventually stand and walk a few steps, before being sent home.

I still have a lot of pain and difficulty using my hands and feet (opening water bottles, turning taps and twist door locks, cause a lot of pain and I often am unable to do this by myself).

The steroids the doctors had me on caused Cushing's disease (it's gone now, since stopping the steroids).
The Cushing's caused a lot of weight gain.

I've been having heart pain (cramps/ squeezing), so I've decided to push myself to lose weight, through calorie counting and walking, as I can't really do other forms of exercise.

I also have Fibromyalgia since my early 20's, I'm 36 now.

Height: 165cm (5' 5")
Starting weight (16/06/25): 207lbs

Current weight (29/06/25): 195lbs

Current goal weight: 154lbs

I'm currently not eating until afternoon (I sometimes get a "no added sugar" iced coffee can in the morning).

I try to eat around 1200 calories, although if I'm feeling particularly hungry I'll eat up to 1550 calories.

On weekdays I walk between 7,000 - 20,000 steps each day, depending on pain, at a slow pace.

I'm sedentary on weekends to recover, and also need braid my son's hair, it takes all day because my hands hurt and he doesn't like sitting still for long.

Thanks for reading.
