Remove streak interstitial

Every day when I log my first food, I am interrupted by an annoying full screen interstitial that tells me "you're on fire" or something useless along those lines. Then I have to tap somewhere to make it go away and continue using the app. Is there a way to disable this? I think that the name of the feature is "streak". I intentionally log my food every day so I don't need a notification telling me that I'm logging my food every day. PS I am on iPhone.

IME, it just happens for a few days, but your experience may differ. I don't know of a way to disable it. If you want to recommend that as a feature, post here:

it’s because the iOS app has been slow to fully load, and you know where the next button is and have gotten there too fast.
you’re probably a very visual, organized, fast mover and your finger just goes directly where it needs to go before the app has caught up.Then you’ve got to wait even longer for the new, wrong page to load, so you can undo it and get where you intended to go.
Maddening, but console yourself that it’s only because you’re above average.😇

I agree that this feature is intrusive. All intrusive features should have the option to be disabled.
