New here, looking for easy workouts

hi all, I’m a do it all mom of 2. I have worked a sedentary job for the last 4 years and see the effects of this in my joints and energy levels. My kids are teens now so I have finally taken the time for myself to find my fitness again. Seeing how that is different now in my 40s than in my youth is crazy.
I was a health and fitness professional for most of my young adult life and when I had kids something switched in me. I lost motivation to take on fitness and struggled to make it through my days. I spent almost 20 years entrenched in high performance training and athletics and during the times as a mom I found time to work out I took on a more is best attitude and defaulted to that athlete deep down inside. Unfortunately my new body was just not up to the task and I had a hard time adapting my knowledge to my own situation. If I didn’t have the time to put in 110% to a workout, what was the point? So I would skip it. And this happened more often than not.

Last year I decided to take my health on seriously and dedicate time and effort to where I was right then. I had gotten up to 175lbs and ended up finding a neat little app with 7 minute daily workouts and cool nutrition advice. I got into some good habits and managed to drop 20 lbs and jack up my well being in a matter of a couple months. I felt great! Problem was, it worked on a 28 day loop and the information got recycled and I got BORED. been there, done that, could recite the pledge. I puttered around on wellness apps for the last year, trying the introductory offers, and haven’t been able to get back to that initial success. I have maintained my weight at 159lb, but am not feeling my BEST.
I decided to try MFP after having it in the background for years because of the food tracking. Honestly, it’s the best. This is the first time I have ever posted ANYTHING (staring off huge), but I figure engaging with a community is what works.
If you have made it this far, THANK YOU! Here is my question to you: where do you find short, fairly easy workouts? Like, I could do them in my office clothes if I need to in case I feel like making excuses. I’m looking to knock down as many barriers as I can and from what I can tell about myself, I will talk myself out of a workout if it’s too hard, too long, or requires more space or equipment than I have access to in that exact moment.

*also, I love Nutella and sometimes eat it out of the container. That could be a pretty decent barrier to my success, but can we not talk about that? I started logging it. What more do you want from me???

I like Apple fitness plus. They have 10,20,30 minute videos in a variety of workouts and trainers with or without equipment. I can create a schedule and they add new videos daily. I tried a free 4 month trial and enjoyed it so much I’m now a paying customer.

great low cal substitute for Nutella:

1 part Naked chocolate peanut butter powder mixed with 2 parts boiling water from your coffee. I find 7gr powder and 15 gr boiling water to be perfect for frosting a plate full of chocolate protein pancakes. 30 calories

Higher cal, low yet still lower cal than Nutella version:

Half a serving peanut butter: microwaved for 30 seconds til runny, whipped with half a tbsp sugar free Hersheys syrup. 98 calories

Both are delicious and a fraction of Nutella.

    ”easy” workouts?

the easiest is one you enjoy because they are over quickly.

Walking is fast, cheap, easy, no equipment (but do invest in quality socks and shoes, because it can be wildly painful if you don’t.)
