Glutamine.

Hey guys,

So, people at my crossfit box have suggested me to get a glutamine supplement. Do any of you guys take this? Can you explain the benefits, and/or why you take it yourself? All input is appreciated! :)

I know what it is/does.. but an employee at GNC claimed I don't need it at this point. Anyone care to elaborate as to when it would be necessary?

    Are you eating at maintenance level or at a deficit? Are you trying to build muscle or just lose weight?

    I've considered adding it as well because I lift moderately heavy. Interested in replies.
