Joining the Challenge

Afternoon, my name is Rachel. I’m a mom of 2 and full time civil servant, so I’m definitely busy and stressed a lot. The stress is negatively impacting my weight and I’m finally motivated to get on top of my dietary needs again. I am currently 223-225lb and my goal is 150 or a very healthy bmi. Either way, it need to lose about 70-80lbs to be near or exceed (weigh less) than where l want to be. Perfection? 142lb, but ultimately I just want to be happier, healthier, and feel more in control of myself and my mental health which is directly impacted by my overall health, so 150lb I think is a better goal. But I’ll be happy once I hit 180 first! So kind of two pronged goal or a final goal with milestone. However I look at it, I want to lose a lot! I am hoping joining this will keep me going. My dietary changes focus on low carb, low calorie, and little to no added sugar (natural sugars are okay-like fruits or in milk). However, I am also not a “you cannot have something at all” person, because that isn’t sustainable. For me, It’s mostly cognizant portion control and nutrition awareness. It’s worked for me before, but I had the added help of breastfeeding, so this time I have it figure it out without the extra calories burned. lol
