Group classes? Or small group Personal Trainer sessions?

I put the word out to my private neighborhood via FB and we formed both a Ladies Bike Club and a walking group.
Bike club folded when the weather changed and they just wanted to bike somewhere to drink wine anyway. But my walkers kept it up for a couple years and I still walk regularly with one.
Put the word out to a wider range of social media friends that you’d like someone to walk the local track or park with. Don’t mention weight loss. That puts people off because it implies judgement and extra commitment. Maybe suggest a time and day up front to meet regularly.
We also have a great social group that formed when someone put a post on NextDoor that they wanted to form a group. We’ve been going strong for nine years now. That’s a possibility-if you can get past the crazy on NextDoor. You may be lucky and yours may still be actually a good group of neighbors.
Look for friends who’ve just retired, or are caring for family and need to get out of the house. I walk weekly with a lovely lady who is just grateful fr a change of pace. She’s not handling retirement well yet.

In addition to good suggestions above, consider clubs in your area.
Here: A local athletic shoe store sponsors walking and running clubs/teams. There's a three-county cycling association that sponsors various rides for different levels of expertise/intensity, the bike co-op does likewise, and at least one bike store does, too. The YMCA has a triathlon team, with group classes to get people started and improve their skills thereafter. There are a couple of canoe/kayak groups that sponsor pool classes, day trips, weekend paddling get-togethers, and one has an annual camp. I belong to a rowing club that offers learn-to-row classes, and membership once people know how to row, and members can use club-owned boats indefinitely so they needn't buy their own.
I'm in a mid-sized metro area, not a big city. Check around you for what's available and sounds interesting.
Community centers and gyms sometimes sponsor teams or clubs. Townships and counties, especially their parks departments, sponsor team sports like pickleball, softball, basketball, etc. If you're in the US, Meetup.com has information for active get-togethers in many communities.
Not all these things require a person to already be seriously athletic. Some are open to beginners.
I'll bet if you look around, you can find some options to explore.

my yoga studio has a WhatsApp group that does coffee, etc sometimes. Our studio owner also put in a small “living room” in the sunny check-in area that she wants to serve as a community area. People have started coming early and bringing knitting and crochet and hanging out before class.
My gym has small groups that get together for coffee or sauna after classes. The weight room has a small private group that works out together. I’ve tried to get them to encourage groups aimed at older woman. So many women are afraid or unsure how to start and need the reassurance. You could suggest that if you’re at a gym.
