Getting my mum on board...I need help!

Guys, please help. My mum is 60 and obese and needs to lose weight for her health. I'm really worried for her. When I started to loose weight she promised to get on board but she was off after only one week...not exercising, not logging her snacks, not weighting the food. She has tons of excuses.

I've tried any possible approach to make her realize she needs this badly but she just won't listen. If you somehow managed to get your family on board for a weight loss and can tell me how you did it, it will be great.

I know that you cannot force your will on somebody but my mum really needs help and I'm very very worried. She has articulations problems so if she doesn't loose the weight she will become disable. Not to mention all the other complication. Her health on stake still didn't convince her to do something about it.

If there is any lady/gentleman out there in their 60 who managed to find the will to change his life, please tell me your story and what made you take this decision, maybe reading about other people of her age will inspire my mum. She is acting like at 60 life is over so trying to improve it is pointless.
