How do people turn there mood around

I run to “escape” my problems. If I can’t for whatever reason get in a short run I’ll do some angry cleaning. It’s like regular cleaning but done when ANGRY. If my mood is low I’ll try and get in a Apple fitness plus workout, strength training helps me feel confident and powerful, or I’ll eat a carb heavy meal, within reason, I still have to eat dairy free gluten free so can’t go wild. Sometimes I call someone and have a vent session or when all else fails retail therapy .
