I'm new to this fitness program. Can someone elaborate on how everything is working for tgem??

    Hello and welcome!

    There are people here at all stages of the progress, with all kinds of different health, fitness, or weight management goals.

    I've been around here a long while - coming up on my ten-year anniversary with MFP. I lost around 50 pounds back in 2015-16, have been hanging around maintaining a healthy weight for 9+ years since, after about 30 pre-loss years of overweight/obesity. For me, MFP has been a great tool, but I'm sure it doesn't suit absolutely everyone. I'd been athletically active for a dozen years while staying overweight/obese, continued that through loss/maintenance and am still similarly active now.

    What specific goals do you have?

    Whatever they are, I wish you success with them.

    For me, the quality of life improvements from getting routinely active, and reaching a healthy weight, have been more than worth the effort it took to get there.
