New here

Hi Everyone. I am new here. I'm 51, been trying to lose weight damn near all my life. I manager to lose some , but it always comes back. I feel like i am a magnet for all the weight that other people lose. Anywho, i have tried WW, which was giving me good results, but Covid hit and all of my progress went away. I just want to be healthier, not supermodel thin. I hope someone can relate. Anyway I am going to give this a shot and since its covered though my insurance why not.

Welcome! MFP is a great tool!

It's all about CICO (calories in calories out). No need to over-complicate things, especially in the beginning. Just make sure you weigh and measure all your foods and liquids (it's a lot of work in the beginning until you start to build up your database and recipes) but gets easier after a while.

If you are good about making sure you weigh and measure, and don't just randomly log someone else's entry that looks like something you ate, etc., then you will see results!

    Good luck!
