Welcome! I am not the best person for advice as I have been struggling a lot lately but I have done it before and the #1 tip I have is to LOG EVERYTHING! Measure your food, get a heart rate monitor. Knowing exactly what you are consuming and burning is going to be the most important thing for getting started. Feel free to add me if you'd like.
