One week done, yay me! 😁

Whew! I made it, even in the midst of birthday cake! That was a close one 😉! Oh yeah, my name is Cindy, was just so excited that I got through the cake I forgot to introduce myself. And yes, I did eat cake, and just for the record, I did log it, haha. On to week two….minus the birthday cake 😊.

In my opinion, the truly big goal is finding new, permanent habits that first take a person to a healthy weight, then - perhaps most importantly - keep them at a healthy weight long term, ideally permanently.
Also my opinion: If I personally am shooting for long term positive life balance, "no birthday cake ever again" is not a good rule. Important people's birthdays, nice homemade cakes? I'm having some. Some random co-worker's birthday, and a routine grocery store cake? Imma maybe skip that one, just give them a card or wish them a happy birthday in person and call it good. YMMV.
If you're already figuring out your personal ways to fit in birthday cake when truly desired, you're already winning, in my book.
