Hello 👋

Finishing my second week and feeling better with the habits being created. I turned 60 this year and am determined to getting healthier.

Hello and welcome from a fellow 60-something!
I started here around the same age (I was 59), lost weight I'd had for decades, and have been hanging around since to keep my head in the game as I maintain a healthy weight, now age 69.
IMO, you are absolutely on point focusing on creating new long-term habits. If you ask me, reaching a healthy weight is a great thing, but the big prize is staying there long term, and that absolutely depends on habits. "Find new happy, positive permanent habits" is a very different mindset from the common "lose weight fast then go back to normal".
Wishing you success: The quality of life improvement is more than worth the effort it takes to get there!
