40lb down 20 to go...

May 13th was the start of my new life choice and I weighed 266 (19 stone). 4 months in and I'm down to 226 (16 stone)
In that time I've had a few McDonald's, ice cream and even 1 whole full fat coke as well as numerous other treats (Open diary). I feel absolutely great.
I want to get down to 196 but wouldn't be worried about starting maintenance at 200-210 if I felt happy. I've worked out 4-5 days per week just doing treadmill with a mixture of running but mostly walking on a level 5-8 incline. I've racked up nearly 200km in those 4 months.
I'd never have been able to do it without MFP as I had no idea about calorie intake and just how many were in so many of my foods. No before/after pics just yet but, although no expert, I'm an extremely motivated 29 year old with serious dedication to my new lifestyle and will always offer a firm yet helpful piece of advice so feel free to add.
Much love from Roy in London!
