HRM calories burned

I have a question about logging calories burned per what my HRM says. For example- today I did Zumba for 67 minutes and my HRM said I burned 482 calories. Is that above what I would have burned if I was doing nothing? Or do I need to subtract some calories from 482 before I log them?
Hope that makes since! I tried searching for the answer but didn't see a clear answer.

It may depend on the HRM type. Mine doesn't factor in what I would have burned in that time anyways so I just round down a bit. Once I get closer to my goal weight I'll probably have to be more precise about it.0

Above what you would have burned doing nothing. In MFP go to Add Exercise -> Search "Zumba" -> Add "Zumba" fitness -> input time and calories from your HRM. MFP may estimate calories once you input time but just type over the estimated calories. HRM should be more accurate.0 -

incorrect. All devices like this include BMR unless specifically stated. . So any calorie burn figure is inflated on the basis of that alone.
It differs for everyone, but one measured rmr I've seen for a normal average dude was 2-3 cal/min depending on the time of day and if he was sitting vs standing.0 -
I log all the calories I burnt as per mty HRM. However I stop my HRM straight after my cooldown, so I know that I will keep burning more for the next 30mins or so.0

Re-read the context of their question. BMR plus activity level was implied in my answer. They wanted to know whether to subtract additional calories from the results of their HRM. You would not subtract calories from the HRM results before inputting to MFP. I answered in the context of the question as MFP adjusts BMR by activity level and no further adjustments would be necessary.0
