Can neither edit an existing recipe nor create a new one

Normally I can edit or create recipes without any problem.

Sometimes, though, like today, I can't. I copied a recipe, made some changes to the copy, but when I click the Save button nothing happens. The screen doesn't change and it's as if I hadn't clicked the button at all.

I also tried creating a new recipe. Everything proceeded along as if it were fine, but when I clicked Save and got back to the recipe list the new recipe wasn't there.

I've tried this on 2 different computers, both running Firefox (which is what I usually run). The MyFitnessPal Status page reports everything is fine.

This has happened many times and I always just come back to it later the same day or the next day to find it fixed, but it is really annoying.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Yep. I'm seeing the same thing and reported it to the Support desk, via email, yesterday. I also mentioned that it's far from the first time this has happened. It's still the same today. If I change all the measurements in my recipe and try to Save & Log, I get a red error message, whereas if I just click the Save button it doesn't do anything at all. I'm using Chrome but also tried using Edge and get the same thing. I then copied my recipe and whilst it copied, I can't edit it and save it with the revised measurements. Cache has already been cleared. In fact, I wondered if clearing my cache the day before is what caused the issue, so I'm glad it's not just me as that almost certainly rules that out as a cause.

I sent an email on Monday. The issue is still exactly as it was - I can't amend and then save anything, which is making my food tracking rather difficult. I bulk cook & freeze portions, so adding the ingredients individually for one meal isn't going to help when I have portions 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 over the next few months.

I got an email last night saying that the team hoped to have this fixed as soon as possible. As I need to edit a different recipe re the dinner I've just eaten, I thought I'd try changing a couple of ingredients then saving it to see what happens. It saved and logged, so the bug appears to have been fixed. Now I can go back in and edit all the ingredients!

EDIT: 45 mins later: I was able to edit and save, but whether it's correct isn't clear as my Food Diary only showed one entry after I saved the properly-edited one. Still being optimistic, I then tried to modify the recipe I've been trying to update for days - and am getting a red banner telling me that there's a problem.
